The Comeback Club
For busy parents who are done running on empty. We build strength, mobility, and habits that make life feel easier — not harder.
Fitness shouldn't be another thing you have to survive. It should be what makes everything else easier.— Patrick Hageman, The Comeback Club
Who this is for
Maybe you "graduated" physical therapy and still don't feel like yourself. Maybe your joints ache in the morning, your energy tanks by noon, and every program you've tried either wrecked you or didn't fit your schedule. Maybe you've been putting yourself last for so long that starting over feels overwhelming.
That's exactly where we begin.
The philosophy
Falling isn't failing — it's part of the process. We move forward with compassion, starting from exactly where you are today. No catching up. No making up for lost time.
The approach
No single method works for everyone. The goal is always the same — a body that moves well, recovers fully, and costs less energy to operate. Here's what we draw from:
Client results
The lengths of the workouts allow me to squeeze them in at some point in my day, which is more than I've been able to do in a long time.
Training with you 8 years and it just keeps getting better! This comeback challenge has really pushed me to great limits.
Got below 210 lbs today — continuing to steadily drop weight without feeling restricted on the diet. Long way to go but feel like I have a stronger foundation to work with.
I dropped 12 lbs in 12 weeks. I was blown away by how easily the changes fit into my life.
The team
Everyone on this team has their own comeback story. That's not a coincidence — it's the foundation of how we coach.
Coaching since 2016, Patrick spent years in Chicago's elite Equinox Tier 1–X system before launching The Comeback Club. He works at the intersection of mobility, strength, nutrition, and mindset — drawing from PRI, FRC, powerlifting, kettlebells, calisthenics, animal flow, and hand balancing.
A 25-year BMX rider who's currently learning to skate alongside his 9-year-old, Patrick brings the same lesson to every client: falling isn't failing, it's just part of showing up.
His clients often joke that he's part trainer, part nutritionist, part therapist — and they're not far off. Real, lasting change rarely lives in just one lane. It lives in the small decisions, the in-between moments, and the days you show up anyway.
His mission is simple: help people make life less energetically expensive — so there's something left over for the people who matter most.
Donna grew up with a passion for running and martial arts — competing in Track & Field and Cross Country, and training in kickboxing and Muay Thai. A Biology and Dental Hygiene background gave her a deep fascination with how the human body works and how to help people take care of it.
In 2016, an achilles injury at a Ninja Warrior gym changed everything. Recovery led to motherhood — two boys, a tough pregnancy, and a pandemic. Watching her health decline was the catalyst that drove her to become a certified personal trainer.
Today, Donna specializes in Women's Health and Strength Training, with a focus on creating a space where women of all backgrounds feel safe, seen, and capable. She's currently completing her Cancer Exercise Specialist certification — while also working as a dental hygienist.
Her mission is simple: help women live healthier lives — not just for themselves, but for the people they love most.
